Eloisa Reports on Leslie and her Keepers List...

I just talked to Leslie! Someone has lent them a garage apartment for a few weeks (hopefully longer), until they can get home to New Orleans and dig their house out of the mud. What follows is a haphazard list of things Leslie loved and lost...

Keeper Books

Heather Graham's Cameron series
Patricia Kahill's books
Brenda Joyce's Deadly Love

Her favorite books of all are Historicals and Time Travels.

all her research books. Leslie and her mom write time travels, so they had Everyday Life in Regency England, Victorian England, Medieval England.

And the Kids' books. Zoe (9 years) loves the Magic Treehouse books and Nancy Drew. She had the Magic Schoolhouse series too. She had all the Harry Potters, and the Unfortunate Events series.

The little one loves Elmo and the Tellytubbies.

Music

Leslie loves jazz and classical music. She had Victoria Secret's classical collection, and Debussy's Clair de Lune. She had lots and lots of jazz albums. Alan Jackson, a country singer. Simon & Garfunkle, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Norah.

DVD/VHS

Obviously, it's all gone, and with a 2 year old and a 2-week-old, Leslie's going to need those Disney's back! So anyone who has Disney films sitting around in your basement, can we have them? She also had North and South, The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth, 13 Going on 30, and the Godfather. Zoe (Leslie's 9 year old) had all the Harry Potter movies. Zoe loves Lizzie McGuire and Hilary Duff.

CLOTHES SIZES

Leslie's mom is a 2X. She likes pants best and wears 18-20. Leslie is wearing maternity clothes right now (since the baby's only 2 weeks), but thinks she's an Xlarge on top, and 16-18 on the bottom. Her favorite, favorite stores are Victoria's Secret, the Gap and Bath and Body Works.

Here's my address again (I'll keep collecting items and gift cards, since Leslie's housing situation is still rather uncertain):

Eloisa James, PO Box 835, Summit, NJ 07901

If you want to send something not through the US mails (i.e., UPS), write me an email and I'll send you a street address.

Thank you all! I have to tell you that Leslie sounds better, and I think we've all had something to do with it. She told a reporter for Channel 33 news about us, and he's thinking of writing a story on Squawk and our great community. I'm so proud of all of us!!
